We give you back a share of the ‘pooled’ 20% of net revenues generated by your users who bet through your club’s affiliated betting service. Each person on your site will help your club earn a cut of the bookmaker’s profits. The more supporters and users you have, the more you can earn.

Our aim is not to promote gambling to everyone. Our aim is to help clubs promote gambling to those associated with the club (fans, players, etc) who already gamble. Instead of gambling with their bookmaker of choice, our aim is to help you get these people gambling with you and helping the club.

SO, THE CLUB RECEIVES 20% OF NET REVENUES? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

We know that funding is very tight and revenue streams are hard to come by. Our aim is to help grow grass-roots sport. We want clubs to encourage those who like a flutter to migrate to their very own affiliated bookmaker betting service – they will get the same great odds, but they will be supporting their club as well. Everyone benefits. Professional club registration offers are arranged on a club by club basis.
But what does ‘20% of net revenues’ mean? The simple answer is this: 20% of any profit (the difference between any betting stakes lost and bookmaker pay-outs on winning bets). This is cumulative of all the bets placed via your Clubwin affiliate betting link in the given period (not including free bets stakes and including payout on winning free bets).

Example of revenue:
User 1 stakes £100 and loses, so £100 goes into the club ‘pot’.
User 2 places a bet that wins £50 (not including stake)
The pot is the £100 (loss) minus the £50 (win) equals £50
Your club benefits from 20% of the pot which is £10
Winning bets are the bookmaker losses, and losing bets are the bookmaker profits, the pot is the difference between the two over set period, and the club revenue is 20% of the ‘pot’.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SET THIS SERVICE UP?

Once you sign up, we will send you a link which will enable your club to take advantage of the exceptional array of markets offered by our affiliate bookmaker partner. Your administrator can then promote your new affiliate betting service to your club’s members, supporters and friends.

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH WE HAVE GENERATED AND HOW IS IT PAID?

Any registered club will receive 20% net revenue share of any profits generated by the users of your Clubwin betting site. The revenues will be calculated on a month-to-month basis, and each club administrator will be contacted by Clubwin, informing them of the club’s affiliate betting site activity and total amount generated over the preceding month.

The net revenue calculations will run as follows: First day of each month until last day of same month inclusive. One month after your club’s affiliate betting site is set up and activated, we will provide you with a statement which shows the total sum of bets made within the previous month and any revenue payments due to the club based on the figures of each month end. You will then be invited to invoice Clubwin, and we will pay out within 21 days of receipt of the invoice. The ‘pot’ resets at the end of every single month.

HOW FREQUENTLY WILL WE BE PAID?

Payment is monthly in arrears.

WHO ARE SUPPORTERS DEALING WITH WHEN THEY PLACE A BET?

Clubwin has arrangements with fully licensed bookmakers in each country that it operates. A club’s bettors will be dealing directly with them, opening an account with them, and placing bets with them. In the UK, Clubwin’s affiliate bookmaker partner is Star Sports, who are well-known for accommodating larger bets than many other operators. Clubwin will be marketing the service with the club’s assistance and will liaise with your club.

WHO VETS A SUPPORTER BEFORE THEY RECEIVE A BETTING ACCOUNT?

This is done by the bookmaker as part of their normal operations, as required by the terms of their betting license. This is known as the KYC procedure (know your client). In the UK, Star Sports, our affiliate bookmaker, will be vetting anyone who signs up via the Clubwin affiliate betting link.

WHO PROVIDES THE BETTING ODDS?

We are delighted to partner with Star Sports, who provide the betting service, offering a wide selection of markets, great odds and special offers on a wide range of sports including Football, Horse Racing, Cricket, Tennis, American Football and more. There is also a wide range of Casino games and Virtual sports betting opportunities. Star Sports (licence number 009177) is licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission.

WHAT IF I DON’T SUPPORT A CLUB? CAN I STILL USE THE CLUBWIN AFFILIATE BETTING SERVICE?

Clubwin is designed to support clubs of all sizes. However, if you wish to use the Clubwin affiliate betting service but don’t support or affiliate with a club, you can still sign up using the Clubwin Logo, which will take you directly to Star Sports, our affiliate betting partner. That WILL enable you to take advantage of any sign-up offer, although you will NOT be able to earn the 20% net revenues, which are designed to support clubs financially, rather than individuals.

OUR CLUB DOES NOT HAVE A WEBSITE. HOW DO WE TELL OUR MEMBERS ABOUT THE CLUBWIN SERVICE?

No Website? No problem. You can tell your members, fans and friends about your club’s Clubwin affiliate betting service via email or most forms of social media, and we will provide you with a unique website URL (commonly known as a ‘link’) which is specific to your club.

Alternatively, they can sign up at Clubwin.co.uk/findmyclub/ – this will enable you to find your club. Simply click on the ‘Clubwin Link’ to the left of your ‘Club Name’ and will generate your club’s unique URL. It will direct you to our affiliate bookmaker partner, who will complete the quick and easy sign-up process. Once done, you will be ready to use your club’s affiliate betting service and start supporting your club financially.
